We are constantly working to improve the FLOC Outdoors; our site, facilities, and programs. We have a number of projects that need your help.
If you are interested in supporting our work with your own volunteer labor, as an intern, through a donation, or as an employee, click on the links.
Contact us for current opportunities. There are numerous ways to volunteer your time at the Outdoor Education Center. We need people who love young people who want to spend time supervising youth on outdoor field trips to the OEC as well as in the DC Metro area. We need people who are knowledgeable about the environment and are willing to spend time working with youth to help pass on their awareness of the world around them or who would like to help write lesson plans that match academic standards. And, we need people who are interested in doing service learning projects with a group or on their own.
